As the DC Metropolitan area transitions into a knowledge-based and innovation-driven economy, FutureFIRST provides the next generation of local residents with a path to prosperity. DC Youth Corps (DCYC) works with city and state government to help youth and young adults who are considered “hardest to serve” with opportunities to learn technology skill sets alongside the cultural competencies necessary to thrive in tech careers.


Professional Development

This program offers a premium Workforce Readiness and Professional Development program for 22-24 year old adults. The One-week, employment readiness bootcamp to empower DC young adults to facilitate change in their communities and enable new business formation. It embodies our mission to provide the skills, tools and structures to elevate clients to their next level of growth.

Participants will go beyond basic skills, technical education in areas such as mobile application development, analytics, coding and digital marketing. Participants will go through the formal process of forming a business through the use of lean canvas to develop a business model to pitch in front of investors in order to receive their program completion
